His disciples meet with Him at the well of Jacob, after the Samaritan woman left. They had come from the nearby Town. Lord Jesus teaches them how to be independent of money. Summary of Gospel of Saint John 6:2-4: In the passage of John 6:1-7, the Lord Jesus asks his disciples to have charity on the crowds and when they refuse, Lord Jesus feeds the crowd of 5000 men with five loaves and two fish resulting in a miracle. We can Lord Jesus ask the disciples to use their money. They refuse. And God picks up the slack, where money fails, by doing a miracle to glorify Lord Jesus' Father. Superficial Observations. In chapter 4, Lord Jesus doesn't need help with food. He says he has spcial food, and then teaches the group of disciples how to not need help themselves for foo
